CV-Scope primarily uses essential cookies for session security, authentication, and language/theme preferences.
2. Essential cookies
These cookies are required for login sessions and safe navigation. They cannot be disabled without breaking core features.

3. Preference cookies
We store UI language and theme preferences via localStorage to improve usability. These are browser-local and not transmitted to our servers.
4. Audience measurement (only with your consent)
With your consent only, we load two third-party tools to understand how CV-Scope is used and to improve it. Nothing is loaded and no analytics cookie is set before you choose.

These providers may process data outside the European Union. Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage, key cvs_consent) for 6 months, after which we ask again. Separately, we keep first-party visit statistics (page, country, language, traffic source) that use no cookie, are not linked to any account and are deleted after 13 months. In the logged-in area, the text displayed on screen (CV content, names, emails) is masked in Clarity session replays.
5. Control
Refusing is as easy as accepting, and the service works the same either way. You can change your mind at any time with the "Manage cookies" link in the page footer: refusing again removes the analytics cookies. You can also clear cookies from your browser settings.
